it's been a wild few weeks. The Coop kicked off it's experimental TikTok marketing. This was outlined originally in our business plan as an "unus annus" marketing strategy - build up as much content as possible, release and then direct traffic to our primary accounts and platforms that we are on, and ignore TikTok; with the main focus being driving traffic to this website.
unfortunately, my stupid business school indoctrinated brain sees a need over there - actually, my stupid "poopoo late stage capitalism" brain can't help but view the experience as depressing. The TikTok algo trade secret is a nightmare to navigate as a raw ass human on the internet. God forbid you like, comment, or message something that flags their system. We've seen it happen on Meta, Reddit, and other centralized social media platforms too.
anyway, as a result of this experience, we are hard adjusting to understand the needs of this part of our community. While it may not be my thing, I don't want to exclude these important creators within the community within this space we are building. They are ultimately documenting for us; I'm just taking it upon myself to organize all the information :)
I'm excited to share when ready. There is a lot in the works at the moment.
